Discover London’s literary delights

In honour of World Book Day on 7th March, why not enjoy some literary-themed activities? Delve into the world of Arthur Conan Doyles’ most famous detective at the Sherlock Holmes Museum, moments from our Baker Street apartments. Then enjoy a short stroll through charming Marylebone to iconic independent bookshop, Daunt Books, housed in a beautiful Edwardian building. Round off your adventure by hopping on the tube to London Bridge, where a magical Peter-Pan inspired afternoon tea awaits at the Shard; savour the delicious treats as you take in stunning views of the city skyline.

Celebrate in central London

Our Chancery Lane serviced apartments are perfectly placed for the myriad holiday celebrations at Trafalgar Square this spring, being just 20 minutes’ walk away.

On 17th March you can immerse yourself in the vibrant St Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival; join the Parade through central London, then head to Trafalgar Square for live music, children’s films, a craft market and food stalls. On 6th April, the area will host amazing martial arts demonstrations, family-friendly activities, and educational talks for the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi. While on 20th April, Eid in the Square celebrates the end of the holy month of Ramadan with wonderful performances and activities, market stalls and global cuisines on offer.

For Easter weekend, take the tube from our Chancery Lane apartments to Westminster Abbey, an icon of Gothic architecture, which is holding a range of services and concerts during Holy Week.

Museums, music and more in chic Kensington

Both our chic High Street Kensington apartments and our Kensington - Lexham Gardens location are within 20 minutes’ walk of renowned Royal Albert Hall, which is hosting a series of performances throughout March in support of Teenage Cancer Trust. Events include music from The Chemical Brothers and Noel Gallagher, and ‘A Night of Comedy’ featuring Rob Beckett and Joe Lycett.

Kensington is a fantastic base for a city break, with amazing attractions such as the Natural History Museum, V&A Museum, Science Museum, Holland Park and Japan House London all in the area. The wonderful high street is a renowned shopping spot, with big brands, designers, and boutiques, as well as amazing cafés and restaurants where you can recharge. Try Labakery London – Pure Tasty Food’s homemade menu of Italian classics – and Viridian guests who dine in-house can receive 10% off their lunch or dinner.

For more foodie goodness, head to Olympia London for the Eat & Drink Festival (22nd March – 7th April). Here you can check out independent artisan producers selling amazing food, street food stalls, mixologists, and big-name brands.

Blooms and beats at beautiful Kew Gardens

Just 20 minutes’ walk from our beautiful Kew Bridge apartments you’ll find the botanical paradise that is Kew Gardens. From 23rd March – 14th April, Sounds of Blossom (included with your entry ticket to the Gardens) celebrates the glory of spring blooms with music composed by students from the Royal Collect of Music. Reconnect with nature as you meander through the gardens, taking in the specially commissioned music playing in blossom hotspots.
