Why West London is perfect for your next business trip Thursday, 21st March 2024

West London is a key business district, home the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, aviation, and media production sectors. It’s also a perfect base for business travellers, offering a winning combination of excellent transport connectivity, easy access to central London, and expansive green areas and vibrant neighbourhoods in which to maximise your leisure time.

Connected places, in prime locations

West London has an extensive network of underground, rail and bus routes linking to major destinations across the capital and beyond. Key stations, such as London Waterloo, Victoria, King’s Cross, St Pancras International and London Paddington, can be reached via public transport, some with direct routes for added convenience.

The area is well served by the District line, with trains linking to Cannon Street for access to the financial and legal districts found in the City of London. And Heathrow Airport is also reachable from many West London underground stations with frequent Piccadilly Line tubes that directly serve Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5, or by car via the nearby M4 in around 30 – 45 minutes.

A world of choice for your corporate accommodation

We operate spacious and stylish studio, one-bed, two-bed, and three-bed apartments in prime locations across West London, providing lots of choice for corporate accommodation to suit your requirements.

But why choose a serviced apartment over a hotel, or holiday home? Our apartments are fully furnished and open plan in layout, with self-contained kitchen facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi – so they’re truly a ‘home away from home’ while you’re in town for business.

With longer stays of 7+ nights, our award-winning housekeeping team will provide weekly cleans to keep your apartment pristine. We can also arrange bespoke added extras (subject to availability) to make your business accommodation work for you, such as parking, pet-friendly units, homeworking furniture and more. So, whether you’re looking for accommodation for a short business trip, or to relocate for a longer-term corporate project, our West London apartments are the perfect choice.

A base that combines business and leisure

We know that taking care of your physical and mental wellbeing while you’re away on a business trip is really important, and having access to great locations in which to maximise your leisure time is key. West London benefits from the convenience and connectivity of the city, as well as buzzing local high streets where you can eat, drink, shop or perhaps enjoy a business meeting in one of the wonderful independent cafés and restaurants. Some of London’s greatest cultural landmarks, including museums, galleries, iconic music venues, theatres, football stadiums and nature hotspots, are in walking distance of our apartments.

You can also benefit from the proximity to the Thames Path and the many public parks to get out for a jog, walk or cycle. The largest of London’s eight Royal Parks, Richmond Park, offers a 7-mile perimeter trail popular with visitors – and deer! Near our Ealing apartments, the Common is great for a sunny walk and an alfresco lunch afterwards in the garden at The Grange, or head to the Grade II listed Walpole park to explore landscaped gardens and the amazing Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery. In addition to their proximity to Kew Gardens, our Kew Bridge apartments are just 15 minutes’ walk to picturesque, peaceful Gunnersbury Park. And you’ll even find green spaces in busier parts of West London, like Hammersmith and Fulham. A 10-minute stroll from our Hammersmith apartments is the popular, lively Ravenscourt Park (by the pond is the best place to settle yourself on a sunny day!). Similarly, a short walk from our Fulham apartments is Grade II listed Bishops Park, featuring ornamental lakes, an urban beach, a sculpture garden, tennis courts and a river walk.

Our West London locations

Barons Court and Queen’s Club: spacious and stylish apartments within 3 minutes’ walk of Barons Court underground. There’s a great village feel to this area, but with a short tube ride you can visit the V&A, Natural History Museum and Royal Albert Hall.

Earl’s Court and West Brompton: Earl’s Court is hugely popular for the excellent tube links across London, as well as being home to iconic music venue, Troubadour. In neighbouring West Brompton, enjoy a meal at the Michelin-starred pub Harwood Arms, 5 minutes’ walk from our apartments.

Hammersmith: the vibrant town centre is a thriving place for business, as well cultural attractions such as the Apollo live music venue and Lyric Theatre. Our apartments are found a short walk from the tube station and high street – with plenty of places where you can pick up groceries to make a home-cooked meal in your apartment kitchen.

Ealing Broadway: spacious apartments located on a peaceful residential road, yet just 8 minutes’ walk to the tube station and lively Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre. The area has some great coffee shops, including Arise Coffee Roasters and Blank Street Coffee.

Kew Bridge: these fantastic apartments are housed in a converted church building, within a mile of Chiswick Business Park. It’s 8 minutes’ walk to Kew Bridge train station, offering onward travel to Clapham Junction and London Waterloo. UNESCO World Heritage site Kew Gardens is 20 minutes’ walk away.

Richmond: the expansive plains of Richmond Park are ideal for walking, jogging, and cycling while keeping an eye out for the infamous deer! Our charming apartments are tucked away in a peaceful mews, yet within moments you will find independent cafés, restaurants, and pubs on the main road – try The Alberts Deli for coffee, breakfast, lunch, or brunch.

Fulham: our apartments are found a short walk from Fulham Palace Road, a hub for shopping, food, and nightlife, with two tube stations within 10 minutes’ walk. We particularly love the short stroll down to Bishops Park and the Thames Path, which you can follow to Fulham institution, the River Café, for a special lunch or dinner.

Chelsea: with three buildings clustered in central Chelsea, you’ll be right in the heart of the incredible local shopping, food, drink, and nightlife. Duke of York Square, the Royal Court Theatre and the Saatchi Gallery are all in the vicinity, and with great tube connections you’ll be in central London in no time.
