Serviced apartments offer a private, flexible and self-contained environment like a villa or holiday home and yet also provide guests with hotel-like amenities such as cleaning, maintenance and staffed service in order to make every stay as comfortable and supported as possible. Take a look at the services we offer as standard plus extra services here.

Opting for serviced apartments when travelling, whether for business or leisure, is a hugely growing trend for good reason. Well several in fact. Here's what our guests are telling us...
There is no question that serviced apartments win out over average hotel rooms in dimensions – guests can spread out and take advantage of the ‘zoned areas’ or separate rooms with defined spaces to work, cook, relax and sleep. This is especially appreciated in longer stays.
The average daily rate per room tends to be more cost effective than with hotels, especially for longer stays. With welcome hampers on arrival as well as the availability of shopping services available from many operators, guests can benefit from the staffed support, yet also save money that would have been spent on mini-bars and room-service. Also a cost-saving: serviced apartments normally offer free Wi-Fi unlike some hotels (we certainly do).
By their very nature, serviced apartments offer a self-contained environment which is safe and secure – there are typically less communal areas than in hotels. All our apartments have been awarded accreditation by the CSC Covid-19 Safe scheme, ISAAP Compliance Accreditation and ISAAP Quality & Comfort Certification. Our guests can book and stay with confidence, with extensive measures and protocols in place to provide a safe environment.
Many people underestimate the importance of home-comforts when staying away from home. With serviced apartments, guests enjoy a 'home-away-from-home'. With comfortable sofas, dining spaces and even home-office desks in some , guests can spread out and enjoy the amenities. And with fully-fitted kitchens, guests can eat what they like, when they like, with no meal-time restrictions. Serviced apartments also offer guests privacy and autonomy - they can relax in their own private space, with more freedom and convenience than a standard hotel room.
No need to miss out on top-notch service during your stay! Most serviced apartments come with an impressive range of services as standard and guests can usually opt for more. We fully appreciate that every guest is unique and every stay requires bespoke care and consideration and we offer a heap of extra services and facilities for guests should they wish them.
As one of the largest serviced apartment providers in the UK, Viridian Apartments offers guests a choice of over 400 apartments in more than 50 locations throughout the UK.

Read full articleThe short answer is – anyone can! Serviced accommodation is frequently used by corporate travellers – such as someone working on a project far from home or someone working from a different office for a period of time. It is also common for people to stay in serviced apartments temporarily after relocating, while searching for a more permanent residence. People also stay in serviced apartments for leisure as there are many benefits to a serviced apartment over a holiday villa or hotel; they provide self-contained 'home-from-home' environments a bit like a villa but with support and services a bit like a hotel - the best of both worlds!

Ordinarily, the minimum booking period with Viridian Apartments is three nights but this is dependent on availability and does not apply for all apartments. We specialise in medium-longer term stays and offer our best rates for longer stay periods. It is also worth noting that in the UK, VAT is only levied at 20% for the first 28 nights (or 5% until 12th Jan 2020) and it reduces significantly after that period. That said, we will always remain extremely competitive for any length of stay and do welcome guests looking for short-stay solutions, whether for business or leisure!

The enhanced ISAAP Compliance met by Viridian Apartments Apartment verifies Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) standards are met.
This certification confirms: we have been rigorously assessed by ISAAP to verify that we meet the required service, quality and comfort standard and that the guest experience is maximised; we are marketing our properties in line with the guest experience; we adhere to industry best practice
