Location: Sloane Avenue, Chelsea
Located in the heart of The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, our apartments are just a few moments from glamourous Sloane Square. At the junction of Sloane Street and King’s Road, Sloane Square is a mecca for shopping fans, while also being flanked by cultural landmarks such as the Royal Court Theatre and Cadogan Hall. Our serviced apartments are well-placed for exploring London’s vibrant art scene, with the Saatchi Gallery just a short walk away at Duke of York Square, the Tate Britain reachable in 20 minutes by foot, and the Serpentine Gallery at Hyde Park easily visited by public transport. While there, be sure to explore the rest of London’s most iconic park, including Kensington Palace and Gardens and boating along the Serpentine. Head down to the riverfront and cross Chelsea Bridge to visit Battersea Power Station, a decommissioned Grade II* listed coal-fired power station, now open as an exciting shopping and leisure destination. You can also buy tickets to ascend 109 metres up the northwest chimney, offering stunning 360-degree views of London’s skyline.
The main shopping thoroughfare in this part of the capital is the charming King’s Road, boasting an attractive mix of boutiques and international fashion houses. The excellent amenities of Knightsbridge are within easy reach with famous shopping experiences including Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Smaller retailers here include the fantastically creative Bimba y Lola (expect bright colours and seriously playful pieces), British perfume house Penhaligon’s, and Anthropologie, where you’ll find a curated selection of homeware, fashion and beauty from independent brands. Peter Jones department store, housed in a Grade II* listed building, is just off Sloane Square, offering eight floors of the best in beauty, home, giftware, technology and electrical items.
Chelsea is a bustling hotspot for an eclectic range of cafés and restaurants. Just off Sloane Square, Colbert offers an all-day Parisian menu taking you from breakfast and coffee through to lunch and dinner. The walls are lined with art and local memorabilia, lending an authentic French bistro feel to this eatery. Bluebird is something of a Chelsea institution, a 15-minute walk from our apartments down bustling King’s Road, with a modern European menu and outside terraces to enjoy on summer evenings. You may also want to try Dinings SW3 for sushi and cocktails, Ottolenghi Chelsea for Mediterranean-inspired bites or 28°-50° Chelsea for delicious European food in chic surrounds, and a curated wine list to pair.
Our apartments’ proximity to Sloane Square means you’re not far from a performance venue to kickstart your evening. The Royal Court is Britain's leading national theatre company dedicated to showing work by innovative new writers, while Cadogan Hall is one of London’s best classical music venues and home of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – you’ll also find performances from jazz and folk musicians taking place here. Tucked down the immaculately kept residential streets are a number of gastropubs, while those searching for late-night cocktails will be spoilt for choice with swanky bars aplenty. The Botanist, just off Sloane Square, is a firm favourite for its expertly crafted cocktails. A short walk down Sloane Avenue, you’ll find speakeasy cocktail bar Barts, with eccentric wall ornaments and dressing-up boxes (they also do a vintage afternoon tea).
