Originally built on land owned by Sir Isaac Newton, Cheniston Gardens is a quiet, residential street located just round the corner from Kensington High Street with its ideal collection of shops, restaurants and amenities. High Street Kensington station is two minutes’ walk and affords easy access to the City, West End and Canary Wharf.
Cheniston Gardens is a popular residential road in Central London with easy access to the outstanding shopping and dining opportunities on offer around Kensington High Street. High Street Kensington tube station is three minutes' walk away with convenient onward travel to the key business hubs and tourism attractions around the capital. Just beyond Kensington High Street lies the beautiful Kensington Gardens, where you'll find the Serpentine Gallery and the iconic Royal Albert Hall at its fringe. The Design Museum is a 10-minute walk from our apartments, featuring exhibitions and displays focused on contemporary design; beyond it, you’ll find the landscaped delights of Holland Park.
Round the corner from Viridian Apartments High Street Kensington, you'll find Kensington High Street, a major shopping scene running from Hammersmith straight through to Kensington Gardens. The street features a wide variety of brand name stores with cafés and restaurants conveniently sprinkled in amongst them. At its center the high street is intersected by Kensington Church Street which offers a wonderful selection of high end fashionable outlets. If you're looking for antiques, the District and Circle Line connects you to Notting Hill Gate and Portobello Road Market. Oxford Street, one of Europe's most popular shopping destinations can also be reached easily by bus or tube.
There is a wonderfully eclectic range of eateries in the area, spanning Italian, French, Indian, British and American cuisines. On the corner of Cheniston Gardens you’ll find cosy traditional English tearoom, The Muffin Man Tea Shop, offering tea and coffee, cakes and pastries, plus selling loose tea.
