This historic building has been renovated with the architectural integrity it deserves, preserving the original characterful details while modernising the interiors to make for a truly unique stay. The apartments are airy and expansive, with beautifully-appointed interiors designed with your comfort in mind, and contemporary fixtures and fittings throughout. Large windows allow for plenty of natural light while also offering fantastic views of the surrounding area.

Open plan layouts provide you with plenty of space in which to work, cook and relax. Kitchens are fully equipped with high-spec integrated appliances, including an oven and hob, washer/dryer, and fridge/freezer. The modern bathrooms come with rain shower heads and the spacious bedrooms contain high-quality beds and plenty of storage.

The building benefits from a lift, as well as outdoor space: the ground floor apartments have private gardens, while some apartments on other levels come with balconies and the top-floor apartments have access to roof terraces. There is also a bike store on site.

Things to do around Kew Bridge Serviced Apartments - St Georges


With a riverfront view, Kew Gardens across the water and the busy high streets of Chiswick and Richmond in easy reach, these apartments are well-located for corporate and leisure travellers alike. The key business hub of Brentside Park is a 6-minute drive away, while nearby Kew Bridge station and Brentford station both offer excellent transport links into the city. In the immediate area, the famous Kew Gardens -and hidden royal home Kew Palace - are just a short walk across the bridge. Overlooking the gardens is Watermans Art Centre, with a 239-seat theatre, a 125-seat cinema and two galleries to enjoy. The Musical Museum, a few minutes up the high street, displays a wonderful collection of automated musical instruments and hosts live concerts. The London Museum of Water and Steam is something of a local gem - this historic pumping station provides plenty of hands-on family fun if you’re travelling with young ones. On sunny days, walk along the Thames Path and admire the colourful houseboats, or head to nearby Syon Park to explore its 40 acres of gardens and historic house filled with incredible art.


The multitude of independent retailers and brand-name shops on Chiswick High Street can be found just a short 10-minute bus ride from our apartments. Across the bridge in nearby Kew, there is a retail park with high-street brands, while on the first Sunday of the month, Kew Village Market hosts up to 45 independent traders selling everything from artisan food to handmade crafts and unique gifts – it’s a real community hub, with live music and charity stalls helping to raise funds for local initiatives. While on that side of the river, bookworms looking for their next read should head to Lloyds of Kew, which has been an independent bookseller for over 40 years and offers a selection of contemporary and rare second-hand books. For premium designers and big-name brands, Westfield in Shepherd’s Bush can be reached in 35 minutes by bus. Here you’ll find hundreds of beauty, household, fashion, jewellery and accessories stores, as well as restaurants, cafés and bars in which to take a breather.  

Food & Drink

Great places to eat and drink can be found in easy walking distance. The Roastery, housed in the train station building by Kew Bridge (8 minutes’ walk), is a great spot for locally-roasted coffee. If you’re visiting Kew Gardens, book a visit to The Original Maids of Honour, a tea room keeping traditional baking skills alive for over 150 years – try their eponymous melt-in-the-mouth pastries. For dinner, head down the high street to Galata Para, a warmly-lit restaurant serving Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine; while La Rosetta is the place to go for traditional Italian small plates, pastas, and mains in a rustic setting with outdoor tables. Upmarket seafood restaurant Makai has three boldly-decorated floors in which to enjoy fare inspired by Southern US food, like crab boils, as well as sushi. If you’d like to enjoy a riverside pint or a cosy pub meal, try One Over The Ait near Kew Bridge, or head over the bridge to The Cricketers which has a large beer garden and a menu of British classics. The Black Dog Beer House and The Brook are also popular options for relaxed drinks and eclectic menus in the heart of Brentford.  

Night Life

Visit the Watermans Art Centre to catch an evening film, whether you like family flicks, blockbusters or arthouse and international movies. For relaxed drinks and live music in Brentford, try local pub The Globe or head to nearby Kew Green to enjoy a tipple at refurbished historic pub The Botanist. Clustered around historic Brentford Docks on the banks of the River Brent (about 14 minutes’ walk from our apartments) there are some great pubs and bars in which to while away an evening. You’ll find amazing cocktails at Aqua Vista Bistro Bar – and any budding vocalists might like to hit the mic during the regular karaoke night! Award-winning riverside venue The Weir Bar has been serving the Brentford community for 20 years, and is a great place to unwind with a cocktail or enjoy live music and DJ sets on the weekend. Meanwhile at Plonkers Wine Bar you’re guaranteed a unique evening; funky music, fine wine, retro interior design, and classic, vintage and supercars all come together under one roof to create quite the hidden gem, whether you want to relax, dance or sample some excellent vintages.
