Our spacious and contemporary one and two-bedroom apartments are tucked away within the pretty tree-lined suburbs of Southampton and yet have fantastic transport links being just two minutes from the M27.
Each apartment boasts a fully-fitted kitchen offering essential appliances such as a spacious fridge/freezer, an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher and washer-dryer. A dining table offers the space needed to enjoy the self-catering facilities and the open place living space with comfortable seating and smart TV provides a place to relax. Modern, streamlined family bathrooms host a bath and overhead shower. The apartments are tastefully decorated and furnished throughout with white and grey tones and wooden flooring in the living area. Bedrooms are carpeted and cosy with comfortable beds and ample storage space for personal belongings.
Outside, a large garden area can be enjoyed by all guests. Sheltered bike storage is free to use (guests to bring own lock). Parking can be booked (subject to availability) and pets are welcome (subject to approval) please email our reservations team stay@viridianapartments.com.
Transport links are excellent. Simply hop onto the bus that stops just outside the apartment complex every 10 minutes taking you straight into town. Swaythling train station is a 5 minute drive away. The M27 is reachable in moments. Southampton airport is 7 minutes’ drive.

Southampton is a bustling coastal city drenched in history with plenty to offer all ages. It’s home to the SeaCity Museum, with an interactive model of the infamous Titanic. Nearby, Southampton City Art Gallery specialises in modern British art. Solent Sky Museum features vintage aircraft like the iconic Spitfire. Tudor House and Garden displays artefacts covering over 800 years of history. The landscapes of the New Forest and South Downs National Park are home to stunning walking routes boasting breath-taking views of the coast and countryside. Family theme park Paultons, home to Peppa Pig World, is less than 20 minutes’ drive from our serviced apartments in Southampton.
Shopping enthusiasts will not be disappointed here - from the ever popular retail haven of Westquay Shopping Centre to the independent, artisan delights of Southampton's General Market, there is plenty for all tastes. Robins Nest Emporium offers a selection of unique home and craft items, and there’s also a family-run café onsite so you can grab a coffee and cake to sustain you as you shop. You can find vintage and pre-loved clothing at Beatnik Emporium, or head to Devernois Southampton for women’s designer clothing. Over in the Marlands Shopping Centre, you can find Re:So, where students, staff and alumni from Solent University sell their own designed, made and sourced products – a great place to find one-off gifts!
Southampton is filled with an abundance of cafés, pubs and restaurants. There really is all you can eat - from full English breakfasts to lazy lunches, afternoon teas, fine dining and critically acclaimed world kitchens. The Chilworth Arms is a 3 minute drive away from our apartments here, where British food is interwoven with Mediterranean influences with a spotlight on seafood each Friday. Brewhouse & Kitchen, just 5 minutes’ drive, offers a contemporary space with beer brewed on-site and a gastropub menu. A 10 minute drive from our serviced apartments will get you to the award-winning Smugglers Bar & Restaurant. Towards the city’s Cultural Quarter, Blue Island is a popular Greek taverna; Piecaramba! offers vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and meaty pies in a fun, comic book themed setting; and Piccolo Mondo, established in 1969, is a family-friendly Italian.
Southampton is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city by day and at night comes alive with dancing, theatre, live music and comedy. The city is packed with music venues: discover upcoming artists in intimate settings or head to the large venues such as O2 Guildhall, St. Mary's Stadium and The Engine Room. Clubs are in abundance and open late so you can dance away until the early hours of the morning in places like Popworld and Buddha Lounge.
